Sunshine in an empty place
Baekhyun-centric, Baekhyun/Chanyeol and Baekhyun/Kyungsoo if you squint
PG
9159 words
Warnings for mental illness, drug use (prescription), major character death (pre-story) and supernatural
I forgot to add an author's note when I submitted this for Chingux, then I just deleted a huge, rambling one just now. The only important things are this: thank you, recipient, for such a brilliant prompt. I got to return back to my roots in writing and for that push I'll be eternally grateful. This was a difficult piece for me to write and, had it not been for the exchange, it might never have been finished. But I got there in the end and I'm proud of myself for it. Without further ado.

( Baekhyun has seen ghosts for as long as he can remember, has heard more stories about death than he could possibly count, but sometimes it’s important to remember that living one’s own life to the fullest, creating one’s own story, is the most important. )
